Only Christ Can Save Our Civilisation

In this GB News interview I argue that the recent open letter from senior figures of different Christian denominations, condemning so-called ‘far-right’ use of Christian iconography, is a perfect example of failed Church leadership. Their timid platitudes about ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion’ do nothing to address the deep anxieties people feel about the future of our nation. Citizens are searching for something stronger than slogans, and they are finding that the Christian Gospel provides the most robust defence against the ideological threats undermining family, honour, integrity, and justice. But it is not enough to take up the Cross as a symbol; it must be lived as a way of life. Only Christ can renew and preserve our civilisation.
