“Dilexi te” — Will Pope Leo Step Up?
This Thursday, the Vatican will publish Pope Leo XIV’s first apostolic exhortation, Dilexi te (“I have loved you”). It will tell us not only what kind of pope he intends to be but whether he will lead the Church with conviction or continue the drift into confusion and compromise that has characterised so much of recent ecclesial life.
