Understanding the Eucharist

Aquinas’s Vision of the Eucharist: Real Presence, Spiritual Food, and Sacrifice

We have spoken quite a lot of late about worship; both the differences between the “worship” of the stage and the worship of the altar, and also the source and summit of that worship which is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our discussion tends to reflect on our own experience: to start to be a disciple of Jesus you need to understand and enter into the Mass. In light of this, I thought I would share some reflections as to what this Sacrament actually means.
