I’m 79 , widowed , enjoy the privilege of working p/t as an ecumenical mental health chaplain .

I greatly appreciate the mystics in the Church, especially Julian of Norwich , Teilhard de Chardin and Meister Eckhart . I regard myself as neither liberal nor conservative . I’m also attracted to the notion of panentheism , I see God in everything and everyone . I do follow Pope Francis and understand his mind set which many traditional Catholics find challenging . He sometimes thinks from the heart and not from the head which can cause confusion . I am like that too..

I enjoy living in Yorkshire because of its beautiful countryside and coast, but it can be uncomfortably cold swimming in the sea at Filey! That is why I like going to Italy where my daughter lives with her three bilingual children ; the wine, sunshine , pasta and olive oil keep me happy there .
